Steering Committee
The Steering Committee meets several times throughout the year and has general oversight of the Reuters Institute. It approves long-term planning, financial statements, fundraising strategies and other activities. It reports to key stakeholders within the University of Oxford and supports our relationship with the Thomson Reuters Foundation.

Thu Thu is a Pulitzer prize winning Myanmar correspondent at Reuters. Since the military coup of February 2021, she has continued to report on Myanmar from Thailand. In her career she has covered ethnic armed conflicts, drug trafficking, human rights abuses and the Rohingya genocide.
