The fifth cohort

The fifth cohort of the Oxford Climate Journalism Network runs from January to June 2024. It includes 100 journalists (34 men, 65 women and one non-binary member) from 60 countries and territories and from a wide range of news outlets.   • Matías Avramow is a climate and social media reporter from Argentina. He lives in Buenos Aires and works for La Nación, Diálogo Chino and Chequeado.  
  • Karina Niebla is an Argentine writer and columnist at ElDiarioAR and Perfil. She lives in Buenos Aires. 
  • Mohammad Hossein Jahanpanah is an Iranian freelance science journalist working for Shargh daily. He lives in Tehran.
