Steering Committee
The Steering Committee meets several times throughout the year and has general oversight of the Reuters Institute. It approves long-term planning, financial statements, fundraising strategies and other activities. It reports to key stakeholders within the University of Oxford and supports our relationship with the Thomson Reuters Foundation.

Arlina Binte Arshad is the Indonesia bureau chief for The Straits Times, where she leads a team of local correspondents and oversees media coverage across Indonesia. A Singaporean of Javanese ethnicity, her career has spanned two decades with The Straits Times and AFP, covering everything from terror attacks and tsunamis to protests and plane crashes.
