Four journalists from four continents are joining our Fellowship programme from April to June 2025

These journalists from Australia, Denmark, Israel and South Africa bring a wealth of experience to our programme, which they are joining for the next few months

Four accomplished journalists from around the world are joining the Reuters Institute's Fellowship programme from April to June 2025. They have each covered the biggest stories in their countries from conflict and politics to climate and the environment. They will take part in an exciting calendar of events from expert-led seminars, discussions, conferences, and engagement with our research team. They will all carry out a personal project relevant to their careers and newsrooms. They will join those Journalist Fellows continuing from last term.

Bongekile Macupe

Bongekile is an award-winning political journalist with over a decade of experience in print media. She currently holds the Deputy Politics Editor role at News24, South Africa's largest online news publication.

Michael Hauser Tov

Chief Political Correspondent, Haaretz

Michael is the youngest journalist to hold the position of Chief Political Correspondent at Haaretz, and he is a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree. His journalistic coverage has exposed scandals in the Prime Minister's office, and in the conduct of the war in Gaza.
