Michael Hauser Tov has been the Chief Political Correspondent at Haaretz newspaper since 2021, the youngest person to hold this position. Based in Tel Aviv, he covers Israeli politics for both the Hebrew and English editions of the paper and frequently appears as a political commentator on major Israeli TV channels. In 2022 he was included in Forbes' 30 Under 30 list.
His investigative work has led to high-impact exposés, such as an investigation into prohibited IDF combat practices in Gaza, the illegal destruction of classified materials in the Prime Minister's office, and in-depth coverage of Israel's judicial reform debate, political crisis, and five consecutive election campaigns.
Before joining Haaretz, he served as Chief Political Correspondent at GLZ Radio, Israel's top nationwide radio station. He recently completed a Master's in Law at Tel Aviv University, with a focus on public law.
