Four figures from technology, journalism and academia join the Reuters Institute as Visiting Fellows in January 2026
Four respected figures with senior experience in technology, journalism and academia are joining the Reuters Institute as Visiting Fellows in January 2026. They will engage with our researchers and Journalist Fellows, and work on a key issue facing the news industry today.
These new Visiting Fellows will join Colette Brin, a Professor at Laval University in Quebec City, Canada and the Director of Centre d’études sur les médias (CEM), who's been a Visiting Fellow with us since September 2025.
Colette is working on AI initiatives in public service media, as well as youth engagement with news. Her new colleagues will bring insights from decades spent working in journalism and academia, on issues including digital platforms, media funding, public service broadcasting, politics and international affairs.
