Suzanne Yeo
Ms Yeo holds a BA in American Studies from Stanford University and a Master of Journalism from the University of California at Berkeley. Upon completion of her documentary thesis project for her Master of Journalism degree in 1998, she moved to New York to begin work as a desk assistant at the CNN bureau. Her time at CNN was short-lived because she wanted to work on more taped news reports and she was also disenchanted with the 24-hour news cycle.In early 2000 she took an entry-level job at ABC News where she has worked ever since. As a producer for "World News Tonight" she is based in New York but also spends a lot of time travelling to report on stories around the country. Ms Yeo has been nominated for three Emmy awards, two in News for Outstanding Coverage of a Breaking News Story in a Regularly Scheduled Newscast for her production work on the ABC News coverage of the Iraq elections and the tsunami. She was also nominated for a Sports Emmy for Outstanding Edited Sports Special for her broadcasting work on The Thrill of Victory 2003: ABC Sports Year in Review.
