Samuel Thomas

Samuel is a journalist at the Taraba State Broadcasting Service (TSBS) in Jalingo, Nigeria. He is a graduate of mass communication at the Taraba State University Jalingo. He began his career with TSBS in 2016 as a reporter, and demonstrated a passion for health and environmental journalism, leading to an assignment on the health beat, allowing him to lead on coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the years, he has continued to report on health and environment matters and in 2021 he was asked to step into the role of news editor while still reporting on health-related news.

As a news editor with a passion for the policy aspect of journalism, he enjoys combining his love for storytelling with an interest in shaping the policies that govern the profession.
