Richard Danbury

Mr Danbury holds a BA in Philosophy from Cambridge University and a Diploma in Law from the College of Law, London. He was called to the Bar in 1994 and in 1996 became a barrister at 9-12 Bell Yard (http://www.9-12bellyard.com), before leaving a year later to write travel guide books. He joined the BBC as a researcher in 1999, on the programme Rough Justice. He has worked primarily in TV Current Affairs, and mainly for Newsnight and Panorama. For Newsnight, he won a New York Festivals Bronze Medal for producing Medicating to Execute with Tim Samuels. In 2004, as Associate Producer for Panorama, he was part of the team that won an RTS, Best Home Current Affairs Award for A fight to the death, a film on the Hutton Inquiry.
