Kirsi Hakaniemi
Digital Media Manager in newspaper Keskisuomalainen
Kirsi has worked at the newspaper Keskisuomalainen since 2003 in various roles in web journalism and digital media. First as a web and news journalist, then as a web producer and most recently as a digital media manager.
In her work, she has renewed the KSML.fi web service a couple of times and built the digital news desk. She has also participated in changing the web publication system and tripling the number of website visitors.
Recent projects have been constructing a paywall for the KSML.fi website, a new mobile service and also iPad and iPhone applications.
Kirsi is a master of economics from the University of Jyväskylä. She has studied information systems science, literature, multimedia, marketing, journalism and French.
