Firas Saleh Khatib

Mr Khatib studied accountancy at the University of Haifa for two years before dropping out to become a journalist. In 2005 he took a course at the Thomson Foundation in Cardiff, where he was the first Palestinian to be awarded a diploma in print journalism. In 2006 he won the First Quattan Foundation Award for Journalism.
