DOI: 10.60625/risj-d65n-1n75

This study is based on analysis of data collected as part of the Reuters Institute Digital News Report 2018. The original study was commissioned to understand how news is being consumed in a range of countries, including Turkey.

The report finds that television is the most cited main news source, that smartphones have overtaken computers as the main source of accessing online news, that high proportions of users report seeing misinformation in the media, and that the use of private messaging apps as a source of news is growing.
