Conference: Mutual Misunderstandings: Muslims and Islam in the European media, Europe in the media of Muslim majority countries

Jointly convened by the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, Department of Politics and International Relations and the European Studies Centre, St Antony’s College, this conference on May 22 and 23 will critically reconsider the politics of representation of Muslims and Islam in European media and of Europe and the West in Muslim-majority or plurality countries. The discussion will focus on specific case studies in the EU, South East Europe, South Asia and the Arab world.
