With a long-standing career uncovering corruption and intrepid reporting from conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Lebanon and Kashmir, including the only interview with Osama bin Laden after 9/11, he has survived assassination, gunfire, and job termination as a result of his journalism.
