Adriana Navarro Ramírez
Adriana is an independent Mexican journalist specialising in environment, conservation, and climate change. Winner of the German Walter Reuter Journalism Award and the INAI National Journalism Award, she is the author of five books on the Mesoamerican Reef System. Her project unpacks the environmental impact of reforms to Amparo Law.

Adriana Navarro Ramírez is an independent Mexican journalist with over 26 years of experience in research, writing, and editing. Her work covers culture and the arts, economics, environmental conservation, human rights, and climate change. She has travelled across Mexico and several Latin American countries documenting socio-environmental issues to highlight the challenges communities face in conserving their natural territories. 

Winner of the German Walter Reuter Journalism Award and the INAI National Investigative Journalism Award, she is the author of five books on the conservation of the Mesoamerican Reef System and co-author of publications on art and culture, edited by the University of Guadalajara and ITESO. She holds a Master's degree in Digital Journalism, a Bachelor's in Communication Sciences, and has completed numerous workshops on research, narrative journalism, and data journalism in Mexico, Italy, and Spain. 

Her work combines rigorous analysis with clear narrative, aiming to make complex issues visible and provide precise information for decision-making. Her career reflects a constant commitment to in-depth research and responsible communication on critical issues for society and the environment.
