Roy is a senior editor at Haaretz, with more than fifteen years of experience in investigative and long-form reporting. He oversees major projects on the news desk, including coverage of sensitive political and military issues, and write reported features and opinion pieces. He has also contributed op-eds to The Guardian, providing international readers with insight into Israeli public opinion and analysis of ongoing developments, helping audiences understand how Israeli society interprets complex events.

Outside of journalism, he enjoys theatre, exhibitions, and exploring good food. He is a long-time supporter of Arsenal, holding a season ticket and regularly traveling to London to attend matches.
