Mpho Raborife is a Managing Editor for a premium South African news site in South Africa called News24, where she manages a newsroom of more than 100 people. She is passionate about representation, transformation, young people and the future of journalism as an industry.

Mpho is the Managing Editor of News24, South Africa's largest & most trusted news site, where she manages a team of more than 100 journalists across the country.

She oversees News24's operational, commercial and editorial strategies alongside the Editor-in-Chief. She is also a dedicated member of the Employment Equity Forum. Its role is to monitor the parent company Media24's commitment to redressing injustices of South Africa's pre-democratic past of unfair exclusion to opportunities based on race through its recruitment policies, retention and staff development strategies.

Mpho is also part of a panel that annually identifies young graduate-level talent who are recruited into News24's dynamic internship program. She holds an undergraduate journalism degree from Rhodes University and an honours degree in journalism from the University of the Witwatersrand. In 2019, she was selected as part of the Poynter Leadership Academy for Women in Media, in Florida, USA.

Mpho resides in Johannesburg. She enjoys spending time with friends and family and enjoys being outdoors soaking up some Vitamin D.
