Lisa Main

Journalist, Australian Broadcasting Corporation

Lisa Main is a journalist with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, based in Sydney. She is a member of the ABC’s investigative unit, which produces groundbreaking  and award-winning journalism across the organisation’s radio, television and online platforms. Lisa has previously worked in the Middle East, and in the United States for Reuters and Al Jazeera English. She also helped establish ABC Fact Check, a journalism unit which holds politicians and other leaders to account for the public statements.  

In 2012, Lisa’s undercover TV reports from the Indonesian province of  West Papua won two gold medals for investigative journalism at the New York Festivals. She has a Masters degree in International Relations from Sydney University.
