Jun Suzuki

Jun Suzuki has over a decade of expertise in international reporting, specializing in political and economic developments within emerging Asian nations. From 2016 to 2020, he led as the Jakarta bureau chief for Nikkei.

During his time in Jakarta, he conducted exclusive interviews with key figures such as Indonesian President Joko Widodo and notable business leaders, further enriching his insights into the region.

He co-authored 'The Secrets of Southeast Asian Start-Ups', an informative guide published in both Japanese and Traditional Chinese, reflecting his deep understanding of the business environment in Southeast Asia. Jun holds a Master of Arts degree in Social Sciences from Hitotsubashi University's Graduate School of Social Sciences in Tokyo.
