Mary Ann Sieghart is a Visiting Fellow at All Souls College, Oxford, and has previously worked for The Times, The Independent, The Economist, The Financial Times and the BBC.
As well as chairing the Social Market Foundation and being a non-executive director of The Merchants Trust, she also served on the content board of Ofcom and the council of Tate Modern.
In this talk she shares with us anecdotal and statistical evidence highlighting the extent of gender-respect inequality in the newsroom and other settings.
