Phillippe Watanabe

Phillippe Watanabe is an environmental and climate change reporter, born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. He has written about the environment and the climate crises since 2016, when he started working at Folha de S.Paulo, one of the leading Brazilian media outlets. His work focuses on forests, particularly the Amazon, and people's relationship with nature, a reflection of his personal passion in this area.
