Yuen-C Tham

Yuen-C is a journalist with The Straits Times in Singapore, currently writing about local politics and working on multimedia content. She has also covered stories on a wide range of subjects from crime and court cases to technology and the COVID-19 pandemic. 

As a Senior Political Correspondent, her areas of focus include opposition politics, legal disputes related to public law and politics, as well as the issues of the day in the Singapore community. She has also served as an assistant political editor. 

She started out in journalism 20 years ago producing content for the newspaper's website and microsites. She now also produces in-depth video features and sometimes appears on The Straits Times' weekday online news programme.
