New appointments to RISJ Advisory Board

We are delighted to announce the appointment of several new members to the Reuters Institute Advisory Board.
Campbell Brown, Head of News Partnerships at Facebook, Ritu Kapur, co-founder and CEO of India’s Quintillion Media, Alexandra Föderl-Schmid, Editor-in-Chief of Austria’s Der Standard, Madhav Chinnappa, Director of Strategic Relations for News and Publishers at Google and Jimmy Maymann, Former CEO of The Huffington Post all join the board this year.
Alan Rusbridger, Chair of the RISJ Steering Committee, former Guardian Editor-in-Chief and Principal of Lady Margaret Hall says: “I am delighted to welcome these distinguished individuals to join our Advisory Board. They bring a wealth of experience to the board, and extend the reach and range of the Board’s expertise to include the role of technology and digital platforms, online start-ups, along with strengthening our representation of quality newspapers. Their knowledge and expertise will be invaluable to helping us develop the future direction and ambitions for the institute.”
