Le Monde announces new Fellowship at the Reuters Institute

03 Apr 2014

We are delighted to announce the creation of a new Fellowship sponsored by Le Monde.Based at the Reuters Institute, the inaugural Le Monde-Reuters Institute Fellowship will commence in October 2014 and is open to all journalists from Le Monde with a minimum of 5 years journalistic experience. The fellowship provides a unique opportunity for a period of reflection, in-depth research and intellectual regeneration and exchange with a diverse group of journalists from all over the world. Many of our Journalist Fellows develop new insights into the practice and business of journalism which they take back to their employers and help develop them personally. Le Monde Executive Editor Natalie Nougayrède says: "I hope that this fellowship will attract applications from our most talented early and mid-career journalists to benefit from a stimulating period of research, reflection and exchange in Oxford. The Le Monde/Reuters Institute fellowship offers a unique chance to engage with the big trends in a transformative landscape for journalism and to benefit from exchanges with experts and journalists from around the world. That experience as well as their research project should give the fellow new perspectives and insights to share with our teams at Le Monde on their return" The 3 month Le Monde Fellowship is open to all journalists from Le Monde with a minimum of 5 years journalistic experience.  Application forms can be obtained from Sandrine de Laclos at ‎delaclos(at)lemonde.fr. The closing date for applications is noon Thursday 15th May 2014.
