Project Administrator (Digital News Project)We are seeking to appoint a Project Administrator to work for three years on a project analysing media developments in more than twenty European countries. This is a pivotal role and the post-holder is required to develop excellent working relationships with project directors, researchers, partners and affiliates. It is an outward facing role and the post-holder should have significant experience in working with a wide variety of stakeholders. The Project Administrator will manage and support activities across the project including partner liaison and communication, tracking impact, compiling and writing progress reports, budget analysis, organising meetings and workshops, coordinating research trips and dealing with contractual issues for short term staff and external consultants. The post is full-time, fixed-term until 31 December 2018, starting on 1st September 2015 or as soon as possible thereafter. Closing date for applications is noon (UK time), Thursday 9th July 2015. More information Marketing and Communications Officer We are seeking to appoint an experienced Marketing and Communications Officer to help deliver a step-change in the Reuters Institute’s overall global reach and visibility. Working in a newly-created key role, the Marketing and Communications Officer will bring practical experience of content creation, marketing and PR to develop and implement a marketing and communications strategy, that will raise the international visibility of the Reuters Institute and its activities and reach our target audiences amongst practicing journalists, media professionals and media scholars all over the world. The successful candidate will write, produce and disseminate a variety of high-quality content across a range of distribution channels and media outlets. The candidate will have both the creative and practical skills to turn innovative ideas into positive actions that will significantly raise the global profile and impact of the Reuters Institute. The post is full-time, fixed-term until 31 December 2018, starting on 1st September 2015 or as soon as possible thereafter. Closing date for applications is Friday noon (UK time), 24th July 2015.
