The Business of Journalism

Following on from our 2009 publication, What’s Happening to our News, RISJ will produce a comparative assessment of the financial pressures on journalism in a range of countries, and develop innovative solutions to secure the long-term future of quality journalism. We will also address the future pattern of regulation of different forms of journalism worldwide, including self-regulatory mechanisms, statutory regulation and the role of different forms of public intervention in the media landscape.
