Trust and Journalism in a Digital Environment

This paper examines the relationship between trust and journalism.

Based on both a literature review and on empirical evidence, the paper explores journalism’s contribution to the creation of trust for other social systems, organisations and for individuals (trust through journalism) and looks at trust in journalism, particularly under conditions of digitalisation.
