Arianna Huffington and Vivian Schiller appointed to Reuters Institute Advisory Board

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Arianna Huffington and Vivian Schiller to the Reuters Institute Advisory Board.Their wealth of expertise and experience in new media will provide extremely valuable guidance to the relevant work and general research direction of the Institute.
Arianna Huffington – Huffington Post Arianna Huffington is the chair, president, and editor-in-chief of the Huffington Post Media Group, a nationally syndicated columnist, and author of fourteen books. In May 2005, she launched The Huffington Post, a news and blog site that quickly became one of the most widely-read, linked to, and frequently-cited media brands on the Internet. In 2012, the site won a Pulitzer Prize for national reporting.
Vivian Schiller - Twitter Vivian Schiller joined Twitter in early 2014 and serves as the Global Chair of News, a newly created position. In this role, Schiller leads the company’s strategy for news and partnership with journalism organizations and the news publishing ecosytem. Just prior to joining Twitter, Schiller served as Senior VP & Chief Digital Officer for NBC News where she had strategic and operational oversight of the networks‘ presence on the web, mobile, devices, and social media. Properties in her portfolio included NBCNews.com, TODAY.com, MSNBC.com, iVillage.com, and BreakingNews.
