Research Project

The role of newspapers during the popular revolution in Egypt was vital in shaping public opinion and the revolution itself has marked a turning point in Egypt’s history. There are differences in the coverage of the revolution between newspapers due to different factors such as newspapers’ stances, journalists’ backgrounds, information sources, government stances, law and censorship.

The research aims to discover the difference in the coverage of the Egyptian, American, British and Israeli newspapers, factors influencing the coverage and the relationship between different variables.
