Public Trust in the News: A constructivist study of the social life of the news

The Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism is pleased to announce its latest publication in the CHALLENGES series.  

The issue of trust in our institutions has never been higher in the public agenda. In this pathbreaking study, the question of how far the news media are trusted has been posed in a unique way—to ordinary people in focus groups.

 

Public Trust in the News: A constructivist study of the social life of the news was written by Stephen Coleman, Scott Anthony and David. E. Morrison.

 

Launched at the Guardian on 15th June 2009.
